I've been feeling a bit under the weather today so I designed a little bow necklace for myself, to cheer me up...and it worked, woo! Tis the simplest thing in the world to make. Just knit a rectangle in k1, p1 rib (mine was 22 stitches, worked until it reached 14cm in length) then pleat the center and wrap the same yarn tightly around it to hold the pleat in place. Then, either thread a length of yarn through the wrapped around middle and use it as a necklace, or attach a kirby grip to make a massive hair bow. Mine has both...versatile, yup? Here it is anyway, as modelled in the necklace style by my cuddly friend, Cookie:
It seems that I really do love this blue yarn at the moment! xxx
